Vancouver, BC - The International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) has selected British Columbia as the "2004 Undiscovered Golf Destination in the World" during the IAGTO awards. The awards ceremony, held last night as a part of the 6th annual International Golf Travel Market in the Dominican Republic, was attended by major golf tour operators and golf travel media from around the world.

Vancouver, BC - Inforetech (WYRE) has announced that Greg Norman will help celebrate the first Canadian installation of its GPS (Global Positioning System) yardage system at Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club in Richmond, BC August 4. Norman, spokesperson and member of Inforetech's Board of Directors, is coming off a great performance at the British Open Championship. He will play 18 holes of golf with the new handheld system and get first-hand feedback of the technology, portability and ease of use.
