Harbingers of the golf season drawing to a close are all around us, with the days getting shorter, temperatures declining, and the leaves turning to golden yellow. To make sure that you are able to get the most out of what's left from our seasonal golf courses, we have collected all the important closing dates, aeration notices, and low-season pricing that you need to know about below.
SEASONAL CLOSURES:
Nicklaus North closes October 10th
The Okanagan Golf Club closes October 31st*
(*October 18th: Quail #18 closes for maintenance, #1 played again to finish)
Gallagher's Canyon closes October 31st
Mayfair Lakes and Olympic View Golf Clubs OPEN YEAR ROUND!
AERATION NOTICES:
Mayfair Lakes closed for aeration from October 4th - 7th
SEASONAL PRICING CHANGES:

Gallagher's Canyon
What a week it was at the 2021 GolfBC Championship. A huge congratulations goes out to Callum Davison of Duncan, BC, for taking home the win, finishing the 72-hole event at 14-under par!
A massive thanks goes out to Gallagher’s Canyon for hosting the event. The teams in Grounds Maintenance, Golf Operations, and Food & Beverage: you are all integral to the success of this event. Of course, the event wouldn't exist without the coordination by "Team Vassos" of VMC and the countless volunteers, as well as the Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada. Finally, thank you to the members and residents of the Gallagher’s Canyon community for being so welcoming and showing your support.
We are proud to be one of the most charitable events on the Mackenzie Tour, bringing our total contributions over the now five years of the event to $675,000. This year, we announced a $50,000 donation to the event's official charity, the BC Cancer Foundation, and an additional $25,000 to the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank.

The Okanagan Golf Club
You may have already heard his name multiple other times this year, and for good reason. Conner Kozak has had a tremendous season of coaching and competing and has rightly earned the title of the the Jack Westover Coach of the Year for the Interior region from the PGA of BC. Conner will now be considered as a provincial finalist for the PGA of BC Awards.

Olympic View
Olympic View Golf Club is going for seven in a row being voted Best Golf Course by the WestShore community. We are also very proud to have our newly renovated Table Nineteen: Victoria making the top three finalists in the Best Restaurant category. The winners and finalists will be announced October 25 and 26 during the Best of the WestShore virtual awards presentations.
