Since 1990, GolfBC Group has been creating and operating premium golf destinations across British Columbia and, since 2003, in Hawaii. Originally established under the ownership of Burrard International Inc., GolfBC was founded with a vision to build a collection of world-class facilities where Members and guests could experience exceptional golf, genuine hospitality and memorable surroundings.

Over the decades, GolfBC courses have consistently ranked among the finest in Canada and North America. They have also welcomed many of the game’s most celebrated players, including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, Fred Couples, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Nick Faldo, Michelle Wie and Craig Stadler. August 2026 marked the beginning of a new chapter for GolfBC with the sale of the GolfBC operating business and brand along with select properties to Sandpiper Group. Sandpiper Group is a Vancouver-based family office and private equity firm focused on private acquisition opportunities and strategic equity investments. Acquired GolfBC properties include: Nicklaus North Golf Course in Whistler, Gallagher’s Canyon Golf Club and The Pinnacle in Kelowna, and The Okanagan Golf Club, including The Bear and The Quail courses, in Kelowna. The sale also included the Table Nineteen restaurant brand (at Nicklaus North, Okanagan Golf Club and Olympic View), the Crystal Lodge and the Beacon Pub in Whistler.

Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club in Richmond and Olympic View Golf Club in Victoria remain under the ownership of Burrard International, although both courses will continue with GolfBC under a management services agreement.
