GolfBC Group, in partnership with the NGCOA, annouces “Take-a-Kid to the Course Week”

Vancouver, B.C. - The week of July 4th to 10th, all of
GolfBC’s 9 golf courses in British Columbia will be
participating in the National Golf Course Owners Association
(NGCOA) Canada’s “Take-a-kid to
the Course Week” presented by the RBC Mike Weir
Visa Card®. The GolfBC Group is
pleased to follow-up the launch of their “Kids Play
Free at GolfBC” program by participating in this great
initiative. “Take a Kid to the Course
Week” is the second of many initiatives that will be
launched by GolfBC over the coming months, under the new banner
“Learn to Play and Play More Often”.
Participating courses are Nicklaus North, Furry Creek, Mayfair
Lakes, The Bear and The Quail at The Okanagan Golf Club,
Gallagher’s Canyon and The Pinnacle, Arbutus Ridge, and
Olympic View.
“Take a Kid to the Course
Week” is another wonderful program that allows
GolfBC to offer an opportunity to strengthen the bond between
parents and their children”, said GolfBC Executive
Vice-President Donald Lee. “We are committed to
ensuring golf is recognized as a true family sport and are excited
to launch this program at our 9 British Columbia
properties”, he added.
