24th July, 2013
GolfBC Group has entered into a reciprocal play program with Pacific Links International, granting licensed and annual members of GolfBC’s British Columbia golf courses access to PLI’s collection of 9 courses within its growing portfolio throughout Hawai‘i, Nevada, California and West Virginia.
As part of the program, PLI members will also receive reciprocal play privileges at GolfBC Group’s 8 courses in British Columbia and 2 courses in Maui.
“This collaboration with GolfBC makes even more high-caliber courses available to our members and is the first opportunity for PLI to offer outstanding golf in Canada,” said Bruce Simmonds, Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Links. “We think the GolfBC members in British Columbia will equally enjoy getting to know Pacific Links and experiencing our wide range of destination courses.”
“We are pleased to announce this program between GolfBC and Pacific Links that will allow us to cross promote our facilities," said Andy Hedley, Vice President of Golf Operations, GolfBC British Columbia. “We look forward to working alongside Pacific Links over this next year to enhance our membership experiences, and are confident that our members from British Columbia, along with the members of Pacific Links, will find value in being able to take advantage of additional playing privileges."
The highly-respected Wailea Gold and Emerald courses on the island of Maui are included in this anticipated agreement along with nine courses in British Columbia which include: Mayfair Lakes and Furry Creek near Vancouver; Nicklaus North in Whistler; Olympic View and Arbutus Ridge on Vancouver Island; and Gallagher’s Canyon, The Pinnacle, and The Bear and The Quail at The Okanagan Golf Club, in Kelowna.
