Olympic View Golf Club Awards Inaugural Hospitality & Sport Bursary

Kira has been a valued member of the Olympic View community for many years. Her journey began in the club's junior golf camps at just four years old before returning as a dedicated volunteer, assisting Alanna Deegan with youth programs and camps. Over the years, she has contributed more than 300 volunteer hours, helping young golfers build confidence, develop new skills, and foster a lifelong love for the game.

Beyond golf, Kira has demonstrated outstanding leadership, teamwork, and a strong commitment to her community through her involvement in swimming, dance, and other volunteer initiatives. Her passion for working with children through sport, combined with her dedication to giving back, made her an exceptional choice as the bursary's first recipient.

This fall, Kira will begin her first year at the University of Victoria, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her ambition to build a future centered on youth development, sport, and leadership reflects the values the Olympic View Hospitality & Sport Bursary was created to celebrate and support.
