In order to prioritize the health and safety of our Staff, Members and Guests, and based on direction from the Public Health Agency of Canada regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) precautions and social distancing measures, following our previously announced restaurant closures GolfBC has now made the difficult decision to completely close our British Columbia golf courses at the end of today.

Although this decision has not been easy for us to make, we feel it is the socially responsible thing to do. With our 2020 golf season just around the corner, we will continue to monitor the situation to the best of our ability and will provide further updates as soon as possible.

We will post further updates on this Blog page, as they happen.

Thank you for the overwhelming support and understanding of our Members and golf communities as we work through these challenging times.

UPDATE [March 23]: Wailea Golf Club also announces golf course closure

To protect the health and well-being of all people of Maui County, Mayor Michael Victorino has announced a “stay at home, work from home” mandate that requires all non-essential businesses and activities to temporarily close. Accordingly, the Wailea Golf Club will close to the public until further notice beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020. This includes all three golf courses, practice facilities, pro shops, clubhouses and the Wailea Golf Academy.

We understand this may be disappointing news for our customers, and we greatly appreciate your understanding during these extreme times. Your safety, as well as the safety of our team members, vendors and visitors to our facilities, is our highest priority. It is our intent to re-open as soon as it is prudent and safe to do so.

In the meantime, we plan to continue maintaining our courses and facilities (as allowable by law) so they will be in great condition when we’re able to welcome our customers back.

From the bottom of our hearts, a sincere mahalo for your support and patronage. Please take care of yourself and each other. We look forward to serving you again in the near future.
